purely subjective of course. But i thought i would start a thread for the younger people of top notch dead/tunes/sets/shows/ etc that really stand out
so i am going to toss in a few....

6/10/73- RFK- was the #1 downloaded show for a long long time-they played the day before in 100 degree weather and kinda stunk-this show started at 6pm. set 3 was with dicky betts and johnny johanson
Morning Dew
Beat it on Down the Line
Ramble On Rose
Jack Straw
Wave That Flag
Looks Like Rain
Box of Rain
They Love Each Other
The Race Is On
Row Jimmy
El Paso
Bird Song
Playing in the Band

Eyes of the World
Stella Blue
Big River
Here Comes Sunshine
Around and Around
Dark Star
He's Gone
Wharf Rat
Truckin'
Sugar Magnolia

It Take A Lot to Laugh. It Take A Train to Cry
That's Alright Mama
Promised Land
Not Fade Away
Goin' Down the Road Feeling Bad
Not Fade Away
Johnny B. Goode

6/22/73- vancouver- you could do the whole show but the he's gone jam is a must imho

10/30/80 radio city music hall- this show was broadcast on showtime once and never again to my knowledge- boy i would love to have a copy of that!@
set three- another he's gone jam except this one has billy cobham sitting in on drums- so make that 3 drummers! make sure not to leave out drums/space on cd. One of the most "agressive" other ones. PS you if dont know who billy cobham is? you should-lol

MSG - 10/14/94- the ultimate scarlet/fire. i dare anyone to think otherwise-lol- also a fine attics

ok i know its one mans opinion... feel free to toss a few in.

10/20/68 and 10/12/68.

For fans of "Primal Dead" these must not be left out. The August '68 shows were made famous by "Two From the Vault", but these two are as good in every regard. TFV is my favorite Dead release, so that's really saying something!

Right on, It's nice to have someone show you where the pearls are at, so you don't end up with nothing but clams.

The winterland run that they released a couple years back from '73 is one of my favorites.

With all the dicks picks, box sets and 'road trips' releases its getting hard not to cite official releases. Seems like all my favorites are getting purged from the archives.org site as time goes by. On the up-side I just found out that a friend I gave most all of my compressed SHN discs to about 8 years ago still has them!!!!
