Hello,
I am new to this blog. So be gentle....I have a 1979 cocobolo graphite neck short scale "Stanley type". I am the original owner. The finish is coming off the neck in large chunks, making it impossible to play unless you can deal with Urethane splinters. I have tried to reach the factory, and the service department via e-mail and tele to try to get my bass back to them for complete refinishing. I am having trouble reaching them. When I call, I only get the message machine, and no returns.Any suggestions? Again thanks for putting up with the newbie.

Keep trying. I was able to get through to Mica week before last or so on my first attempt. Phone is best.

Jon, this is a very cool site. Welcome!

Good luck with your finish. I would imagine you'll get this all sorted out.

Hello,
Talked with Mica today. WOW!! She was incredibly helpful. I can only imagine the players she has worked with, WOW! Can't wait to get the "baby" back there to get it tuned up. Thanks for the help.

Jon
