Hey, Gang!
While preparing for the NAMM Show (see related link), I decided to update my business cards and I'm interested in whatever business card layouts you folks use (if at all). Why not show 'em off, here?

Here's mine.

Wow, Rusty! That's beautiful, especially with your spectacular bass front and center. And thanks. The font I used is called Space Age.

Sam - that is a great picture of you and your bass.
Rusty - that is a real smart idea to include the equipment that you have. I should get some cards made up like that, its a great way to promote yourself for any and all gigs!

Great cards Harry and Jazzyvee. Thanks, Pauldo. Rusty, did you find logos with already transparent backgrounds or did you have to render the backgrounds transparent in PS?

For what it's worth, I create cards in Avery DesignPro (a free download) and print them myself. And there's no doubt in my mind that QR codes are the thing of the future. Several biz cards I picked up at NAMM had them and I usually got comments on mine, which link to sound clips on Fandalism.

Cool card Mike! Sam, For the Fender, Hartke & Rickenbacker logos I just found some with black backgrounds that would blend in, the Eden logo I had to crop & delete the background & the Alembic logo is actually a scan of the logo on a set of strings, so I had to do extensive background removal for it. I have all the logos saved so if anyone wants them, email me & I'll send them to you.

Sam, I just got a QR reader for my iPhone & scanned your code & it took me right to your page! That is too cool & a great idea!! I wish I would have known about it before I just got 2000 cards made for my band! LOL!

Rusty, thanks for the info and the offer. You can still create a QR code for your band's website for free on the internet and save it as a .jpg on your computer. Then, include it as part of all your future stationery, emails, etc.

And you can still print the QR code on stickers and put those on the back of your 2000 cards (and a lot of other places, too). Problem solved!

Maybe later on one of us can start a thread here: "Show your QR codes". LOL.

You're welcome Sam! I got a QR app for my phone tonight that create them as we'll as reads them. That's a good idea to make stickers & put them on my cards!
