Hey Guys

The new bass is going to be stereo so I need some help on making some purchasing choices. I am looking for ideas for a stereo amp in the thousand watt range as well as which way to go with the Alembic pre-amps. All of my playing is done using ten inch speakers. I either use two tens, four tens,or six tens depending on the gig. I am a freelance player so my styles vary I look for versatility. That is why I always have so many switches on my basses. Even if you don't have a stereo rig and you have heard something that sounded good please chime in. Currently I play Eden amps and cabs.

Are your cabs 4 ohm or 8 ohm?
By "thousand watt range" do you mean 1,000 watts per channel or 500 watts per channel?

I have a QSC PLX 2402. I think it's a great amp. It's relatively light weight and the specs are very good. A number of people here in the forum use PLX amps. They seem to have a very good reputation. If you run a search of the forum for PLX, you should find several discussions that you may find helpful.
