Hi Wille,
Nice to here form a local. I live the Trenton area Hamilton New Jersey. As far as playing, I get together with a couple of guys form time to time and play a few little dinner clubs nothing at the moment. We are all older guys, so we play some jazz, eat some pizza, drink some beer, and tell some lies, then home buy 11:oo and i love it. Thats about all i can deal with these days.
How about you, playing anyware around soon?

Hey Doug
I'm not playing anywhere right now, still recovering from an operation on a nerve in my left arm that was threatening to make me give up playing for good. Saw the neurosurgeon the other day and he said I can try to start playing again, but will have to see how it goes, hopefully I'll be back out there soon. I'm not too young myself so I can relate to the pizza jazz, lies and especially the beer.

I'm just outside of Wilmington, DE...one of my projects is a Philly-based band called Prima Donna.

Hey, have any of you guys met the Alembician from Philly who loves his 3 4-string Elans so much that he has absolutely photo-quality tatoos of each...one on each bicep, and one on his back. The tatoos are so good you can tell the figured walnut from the cocobolo...and the flame maple is easy...

Now that cat is HARD CORE!

Hey East Coast Alembics,

Yeah man, that's what I'm talkin' about, let's make history and get these Alembic Clubs up and going. I'll do my best to keep in touch with all of you from the West.

Peace,
Darrell

Just for laughs, there's an electronics package called 'East meets West', how appropriate!

Hi all. I hail from Hunterdon County. I love the idea of a group get together. It would be a great time for all involved.

Doug (1st Bass)
Thanks, I hope so too. I have to start physical therapy this Thursday to try to build the strength back in my left hand. That get together sounds good, hopefully we can work that out somehow. Maybe Steve will pass out beers when his new family members arrive.

Hi all,

I live in Bryn Mawr, in Delaware country west of Philly. I also play occasionally with a couple of guys at open mic nights, and we've hosted open mic night at the Bridgeport Rib House. In fact, they're playing there this Friday, but I won't be able to make it as I'm in London this week. It'd be nice to meet up with fellow Alembicians!

Hi Mark, I grew up in and around Philly, As a matter of fact my first wife went to Rosemount collage. If you are talking about ribs, beer, and alembics I'am so there.

Willie good luck with that wing. keep us posted.
