Yes, R.I.P., Spencer. It's tough outliving the heros of our times. I still haven't gotten over Frank Zappa. :-(

:-(

Between the Airplane and NRPS he was the pulse of much of my romance with psychedelics growing up. We will miss you Spence, RIP

I just got back from rehearsal where I sang into the mike I bought in the Spencer Dryden benefit auction last year. Another piece of history has passed on. The joy he helped bring me will live forever.

Another great musician joined the great gig in the sky...

I simply love the Airplane, and any drummer who could keep up with Jack Casady's roaring bass deserves respect. R.I.P.

It's coming from government research done from the 40's through the early 70's (and still ongoing), industrial heavy-metal contamination and general poor environmental stewardship, in my humble opinion. My fear is that my grandkids will be born with flippers instead of hands because of the widespread prioritization of money over clean air, water and earth...
