Some styles (like punk) are really suited for pick-style playing. I have seen them on ebay before and did contact a seller about them because I wanted to know if they would cut material 3mm thick as I use that size dunlop stubby plectrums for guitar playing. Sadly the seller I contacted said they would not. I have been using the resulting picks for a while, and I and find that I like them as much as the regular Fender mediums. But, I also like thicker picks.
