No big news but kind of different. A new radio station is starting up in western Colorado. Their tactic for getting some attention is to play "Stairway To Heaven" back to back, 24/7. They have been going for about ten days now. At some point they will start in with their normal programming, whatever that will be. Rich |

Egad! Obviously they never watched Waynes's World, a rather funny movie where, in my favorite scene, Wayne walks into a Guitar Center or similar store, picks up a strat, starts to play S2H and immediately an alarm goes off, lights flash, and a salesman points to a sign that says "No Stairway to Heaven". Big fun. Bill, tgo

There is one store where I've actually seen that sign for over 20 years at least, the Haight-Ashbury Music Center in San Francisco. Valentino |

Funny thing. After I did the post about playing Stairway To Heaven, the next time I got in my car they were playing other songs. It seems they're going to be a classic rock station. I haven't heard Edgar Winter Group's "Frankenstein" in years. Pretty cool. Rich |
