You can never start them too young..Did you notice the the two hand tapping technique?? At his age already..we should be worried!!

From the look of the right hand fingers an the thumb I'd say he's working on the Victor Wooten technique. :-)

The pic lost some clarity in resizing. He's fretting (Erik Mongrain style) with the left & plucking with the right; the low E is WAY off the board. This after watching me play 3-4 chords. The kid's a freakin' genius, I tell ya!
