Seven days of sun, wind, Harleys and honies, LOL! I caught Motley Crue at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino where I stayed. While these guys were never, nor will they ever be, virtuosos, the show was good. High energy, good tunes, hot go-go dancers, disturbing videos (LOL!) and Tommy Lee's ubiquitous Booby Cam. It was general admission, and they overbooked, so it was you-know-what to elbows in that place. Normally, as an aging 40-something hipster, I have a problem with that. There was so much eye-candy, however, I forgot to be annoyed by the packed standing-room crowd, LOL! If you dig hair-band metal, biker music, go-go bar music, whatever, it's a decent show. Yeah, Crue is still covering that old Sex Pistols chestnut. I've also got Crue tickets later this summer for good ole Joisey as well.
