Dave, Figured I move the my response from Staurday over here since it is a change of subject. Holly Springs is about 15 minutes south west of Raleigh. The reason I asked about proximity to Asheville is I expect to be spending lots of time up there over the next 4 years taking my daughter back and forth to college. Since you are near enough I can ask the all important question (Yes it includes one of the "B" words :-)). Are there any Brew Pubs up there that brew their own Beer and Ale? If not are there any that carry a good collection of unique draft beers? Keith |

I figured that was the one you meant (Map Point listed 4 Holly Springs in NC.) I haven't been in Asheville long enough to get to know much about the clubs. I hope to rectify that soon as the band I'm playing with is about ready to go out and play someplace! However one place I have been to is Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria. Some quotes from their website: "The downstairs bar has 24 taps featuring the South's best selection of American craft brewed beers." And "Barley's in Asheville has been recognized as "Best Taproom in the South" in Southern Draught Beer News and picked a "Top Tap in the South" by Celebrator Beer Magazine." When your up this way, if you've got a little time, give me a shout. |
