It's also funny that he mentions there was a hole in the high end bass market (I'm paraphrasing): I was around back then: What high-end basses? I guess he's talking about 4001's, EB-0's, and Starfires and Fenders . . . . and of course, the first-run Spoilers had the only Alembic decal on the headstock, a not-repeated-since trial not seen on the example in the pic. Maybe it's like the old PR line, I don't care what they say as long as they've got a good picture.
