Usually the only things i reject are those that have no connection with Jazz, blues or world music or if the recording production quality is at a level that it will not stand up next to the other tracks on the programme. ( no point in playing something that is going to put the artiste in a bad light). I've already played some tracks by fellow forum member Pierre-Yves. Many of his tunes were important building blocks to my musical connection to understanding and playing Jazz ____ Horace Silver & Miles Davis are both largely responsible for sparking and starting my love of Jazz, in spirit , content and delivery. Bobby Womack will always be a part of my musical appreciation with his grooves and spirit as well . He really knew how to capture his audience.
