Hi friends, this is merely unusual to start a thread like this one but ... we're in a kinda trouble. The lead-guitar player in our band is celebrating his 40th birthday in november and he wants to buy "a- white-hollowbody-or-semi-hollowbody-with-tremelo-arm-Bigsby-style". (jeeeeez) Okay you'll start screaming: go for the Gretch "White Falcon" but really guys, the budget really doesn't make that an option. Even the offers at e-bay are too high for that guitar. The funny thing is: as well Yamaha, Guild, Epiphone, Ibanez, Washburn, Aria even Stagg were making these guitars but ...not in WHITE anymore! Washburn and Yamaha f.i. had beautiful and not too expensive models but not for sale anymore. Well ...not in EU as far as my research lead. There was this guy at Yamaha who said that there was definitely a difference between marketed products in US and EU. Can somebody give us some help here? Other brands? Offers? Second hand possibilities? You have one in your attic gathering dust? I don't know. I'm just using this club to help us look around. It's not that "alembic" but well ...he's my friend too so ...
