I have just launched Basscast, the podcast for bass players and lovers of the bottom end. Each edition has news about bass oriented gear, CDs, DVDs, books. There's also a feature CD and tribute to an influential player. Basscast 1 features Victor Wooten and Charles Mingus. Basscast 2 features Glenn Hughes and Flea (and is co-hosted by regular TBer Petebass). There is more episode information at: http://basscast.libsyn.com The easiest way to subscribe is: 1. Download iTunes 4.9 from Apple, if you don't have it already. 2. Click on "Podcasts" at the right side. 3. Click on "Advanced" on the menu bar. 4. Thanks. Basscast 3 will be out soon. The feature CD is "Silver Rain" by Marcus Miller. Step back in time is "Word of Mouth" by Jaco. Basscast 4 will feature "Ohmwork" by G/Z/R (Geezer Butler). Tom Fowler it shall be. The segment is being hosted by Dave Marshall, bass player in Petulent Frenzy an awesome band that plays only Zappa material. They are the real deal with xylophone / marimba, horns etc. | ||
