So my brother had an extra ticket to go see Pearl Jam at the BMO Harris Arena in Milwaukee last night.

I usually prefer seeing shows at more 'intimate' sized venues; but I like Pearl Jam, the ticket was free and my brother and I haven't seen a show together in years . . .

I was pleasantly surprised and feel that Eddie Vedder was the main reason. I am not sure what kind of mojo that he has, but he made that arena feel like I was sitting in someone's living room. In particular some of the 'softer' songs really impacted the whole audience.

Their tour is winding down, but if you get tha chance- go see them!

Saw them in Minneapolis/St. Paul the other night after waiting many years for them to visit our city once again. Great concert! Started out with some of the softer material and then built from there to the heavier stuff as the night went on. Nearly 3-hours of music which one typically doesn't get anymore especially at large venues like the Excel Center.

Starting to think about my age (advancing) once again following the concert. When I see Further, PL & Friends, Ratdog, and artists from that era, I expect a "more mature" crowd. But PJ hasn't been around since the 60s and the crowd was just about as old at least where I was located.
