Just this evening (6:10 PM CST) life saw fit to grant me a daughter. All blessings from the endless heavens upon all of you.

Congratulations! Although raising a child is a big responsibility, it is worth every minute of it.

Congratulations Kevin! Children are a wonderful gift & well worth all the effort it takes to raise them! I pray God's blessing on you & your family! Enjoy this time with your daughter, it passes much too quickly!

Mozel Tov! Let the ride of a lifetime begin! One word of caution, though - they turn into teenagers!!!!

Much health and happiness for all.

Congratulations! glad some have the stones to be parents;personally I am happier being weird uncle Tony than Dad; that's why I got fixed...funny that some people think I'd be a good dad and some(mostly workmates) are glad I'm not...I seem to raise rather eccentric cats, so my children would be highly weird; mind you, they'd be smart because I would never allow an uncurious,uninformed,flabby mind...lazy perhaps, but never stupid...Tony

Congratulations to you and your partner.
God bless this wonderful new family.

Just remember mate in about a dozen or so years from now there will be double the Oestrogen in the household!
Don't worry though by that time (if you start now) you will be better prepared.

Best line for potential suitors;
"Let me show you my gun collection"

All in jest my friend.
Enjoy every emotion that this brings
at least you will know you are alive.

Peace to you and yours

My thanks to everyone. This is our second (and presumably last). My son is 7 years old, so I haven't had the pleasure of raising a teenager yet, but I'm familiar with some of the other aspects of parenthood.

Congratulations! As a recently minted empty-nester, I envy your journey. It's one of life's rarest privileges.

Congrats! It's the most awesome thing. And it's amazing how big your family grows. I'm most grateful to the support in my fatherly adventures I've gotten here. Can't wait to see pictures and hear all about it! Your daughter has just gained lots of uncles and a few aunts.
