Okay here's the low down...

. Beech body
. TV Jones Filtertron pickups
. Maple neck with rosewood fingerbord, Big Headstock
. MacMillan Jazzmaster Vibrato with Bridge

Today I finished the body in a very classy looking two tone sunburst, instead of using the normal Yellow, I went for a darker shade "Indian Yellow" which gives the body a wonderful glow. I then added the satin black bands. It really looks like a Vintage guitar.

Now I'm stoked about a pickguard, should I go with a Cream Guard, a Tortoise shell or Black? Plain white falls off because it would look too sterile.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like tortoise shell would look great. Got some pix?
