Just picked up a Greenboy Dually bass cabinet (2-15s, 60 lbs.) today, along with an old Acoustic 370 head. Plugged it in for the first time, and all I can say is "Wow!" This setup is a beast. The cabinet is switchable between 8 ohms and 2 ohms. I will definitely be ready for my next arena gig. Way too loud for most gigs I do. I was able to trade some cabs I wasn't using and a little cash, so I thought I would give it a go. Not sure how often I will gig this rig, although I probably will use the cabinet at some gigs. It's very portable, and I like how the height of the Dually gets the sound closer to my ear than my 2 112 cabinets will. If anyone else is using a similar setup, let me know your opinions! |

Ooohhh! sounds cool! I use a 4x10 and a 1x15 cab with a 370 and I love it; have from the start...I'll have to try the 2x15 route sometime...Tony |

I used to use a 370 head to drive my 301's. A good head that never gave me any trouble but heavy. Keith |

I looked inside mine and found a heat sink that was steel about 1/2 a railway rail; no wonder the amp was heavy but no wonder that they are so reliable...Tony...won't sell mine but I may sell my backup because I'll never need it...Tony |

I really made this deal to get the cabinet; it's like the 370 was a bonus! I've played many amps over the years, but never tried an Acoustic. Haven't had a lot of time to play with it, but I like what I hear so far. I think I'll have to gig this rig on Saturday night. It's surely overkill for the room I'm playing, but I know how to work that volume knob! |

I run a Greenboy Designs 15/6/1 in a fiberglass cabinet made locally here in the Chicago area. The Cabinet is Loaded with an Eminence 3015LF, a Eighteen Sound 6" and a horn with a Waveguide. Yeah... I can combine the cabinet with combinations of my Bag End single 15", 2 x 10" Eden cabinet, 4 x10" SWR cabinet... AND my Thunderchild 2 x 12" (Eminence 3012LF Loaded) run off two channels of amplifiers. Rich |

My drummer has said that the Acoustic 370 has been trying to kill him for about 20 years or so; he kinda whimpers when I point it at him at practice, especially since my gk 4x10 says FRONT TOWARDS ENEMY as I point it at him; oh well... |

I've been using a kit-built Greenboy Fearful 15/6 (with crossed over 6" driver but no tweet) on top of a BagEnd S115-D, a 212 and another 15/6. I'd love to try a 370 head, but it's been plenty of fun with an Eden Nav/Crown XLS 2500 top and with a Mesa M6. Any of the configs using the 15/6 are the loudest, most full-range, non distorted arrays I've ever used. The tone and range are like that of an excellent PA run by a great engineer - all in a box. I've used Acmes, Edens, Mesas, an El Whappo and others - never found this much in one box-plus building the kit is like building model airplanes on steroids (fun)! |

i use a dually. fitted w/ 2x faital 15s. once I got it, I stopped looking for cabinets. for a head I have a labgruppen fp3400 power amp and a kern ip777 preamp. I wanted a 2x15 for a while, and when I learned I could get this made at 39lbs, I jumped. it's some sort of composite. I can carry it with one hand. i'm not sure why I seem to be the only one with a lightweight dually - I've had it for a few years now without issue. someone told me that the fumes were dangerous to the builder? not sure. sound is everything I wanted. makes me wonder why people bother with tweeters. this has a more balanced mid/high end then when I used 2x10s with tweeters. |

I love my Sunn 200S, but when it's too much, a fEARful 15/6/1 is perfect. Building the fEARful kits is fun! |
