Gentlemen,

I received this a little while back and just wanted to share it. It is beyond humbling:

"Benjamin alerted me to a very creative and great sounding product design he had made, and we negotiated a license for my company to employ aspects of it in products in which my company lacked experience. We try to be "top of the line" in our field, so selection of Benjamin's product architecture speaks for itself.
He has been easy to work with, and negotiation of license proceeded very smoothly compared to my experience in situations." - Mike Beigel, founder Musitronics/Mu-FX

Coming from the godfather of effects, wow! Mike is an inspiration to players and builders alike. He is also a true gentlemen to deal with and very, very smart. There are people in our lives that enhance it. Mike is definitely one of these great individuals. It was very cool to get some kudos from a guy that was on the forefront on musical technology in 1970's, right along with Alembic. :-)

Sweet!
I use my Beigel ECF almost everyday.
I'm glad to see Mu-FX taking off. What a thrill to have such nice comments from Mike.
Any appetizing soundclips you can share ?

Thanks guys!

My very first real effect pedal was a Mutron III, so it was over the moon getting a chance to work with Mike years later!

Elwoodblue, I actually don't have any soundclips of his dual drive, as he has yet to release any...it's still a fair bit under wraps. However, I do have some links to sound clips of what it could potentially sound like, based on the SynapticGroove overdrives:

If you scroll down the page until you reach the 'SlackJaw' clips, there you are my friend! :-)

Thanks guys!

Cool I'll check that out today.
I saw a Namm video and there was an overdrive
on the board...I think it was red?
I noticed there was no mention of one yet on the web.
