Can you believe it??? Even the women folk had a nice time! From Left to right, Irene, Sandra, and Joan were great fun!

We talked bass, techniques, bands, and just general stuff all night. We all had a great time. We will be getting together soon to side-by-side compare the sound of our combined 6 different Alembic models! We are all looking forward to meeting again very soon. Anyone who is interested is more than welcome! The more the merrier!!!

I have to add that through the Alembic club I have made some great friends that I hope to have for a very long time. Out of this gathering have come bass lessons, swapping basses and gear, shopping trips, and arrangements for more meetings! What a great night!
Eventually, we started to say goodbye
goodbye
Even before we left the conversation got hotter!!! Probably more talk about our basses!

Thank God! Even the wives and partners want to do it again!

Great report Michael! With that first pic I was expecting "it was a dark and stormy night"!

Thanks for sharing that. It looks like a good time was had by all and it's always nice to have faces to go with names.

Is that Edinburgh Castle? Next time you guys should *replace* the 1:00 o'clock cannon fire with something a bit more substantial, like a blast of Alembics!! Beautiful country, and it looks like you folks had a fun get-together...
