As part of my personal practice routine, I select somewhat challenging and interesting recordings to play along with that I don't normally get to play with others.

The other day, I selected "Won't Get Fooled Again".

About half way through - right before the drum / keyboard interlude - a tiny spider descended out of nowhere on a thin strand of web and proceeded to dangle in mid-air beside my right forearm.

Needless to say, this distracted me enough to disrupt my timing for the remainder of the tune.

Cool story... BTS was always a favorite Who song. Got to see them play it a few times in the late 60s.

Won't Get Fooled Again is hard to play well. Have you ever heard the isolated bass track from the version in The Kids Are Alright movie? Pretty sure it is on YouTube.

Oh yeah - that was way scarier than seeing "Boris"...

UR correct, it's hard to get the timing and phrasing correct - that's why I like to revisit it on occasion. Don't know if I'll ever nail it, but it's a good workout just trying to get close.

Re: books on the floor - yeah, all that and more - ! Unfortunately...it can be a bit of a mess in that room sometimes.
