My bad, I missed (again!) the chance to see the Outlaws on their 39th Anniversary reunion tour last night at the Starland Ballroom in lovely suburban Sewerville, er, um, Sayreville NJ. This is the second time they've swung thru this joint this year, and I missed both of 'em!

Anybody here go? Hopefully, somebody got to see 'em. Lemme know what I missed so I can REALLY feel bad about not going, LOL!

FWIW, Huey Tomasson took time off from Lynyrd Skynyrd to join his ole' buddies in the Outlaws. He's joined by Henry Paul, Monte Yoho & David Dix. The Florida Guitar Army Lives!

I last saw the boys at the Rutgers Athletic Center ca. '80. Freddy Salem was amongst the three guitar onslaught that is/was the Outlaws. Original member Billy Jones, deceased '95, was also slinging axe. It was awesome! "Freeborn Man", "Hurry Sundown", and "Green Grass and High Tides" will stand out in my mind forever!
