Does anyone know of any good electric bass duet music? I have searched online, and only found some Bach inventions written for two basses - I'm looking for something other than "classical" style. |

One of my Favorite Bass albums is one entitled "Basse Contre Basse" featuring virtuoso Bassist Alain Caron and acoustic Bassist Michel Donato. The whole album features them together exclusively. There is the occasional percussionist, but that's it. What sounds like keyboards or anything else is Alain Caron's Bass on MIDI. Excellent album - worth a listen. Rami |

There's also Steve Bailey and Victor Wooten: "Bass Extremes". There are some bass trios on this one too with Will Lee and Oteil Burbridge. Mark |

I remember something like 'Berliner Bass Ballet'. A poppy song or band with only basses.... |

To add to Mark's comments, and if you were looking for written music, Bass Extremes is a book with transcriptions and an accompanying CD. |

Fellow Alembician Trip Wamsley's latest album features some lovingly arranged, technically stunning and great sounding (test your speakers!) bass duets 'with himself'. And 'Ocean Blue' was used on several tracks. Highly recommended! Wilfred |
