Okay, this is WAY off-topic for bassville... but...

I recently (last night) stumbled upon this (old) story on the internet, and it just blew me away... I just found it utterly mind-boggling...

Does anyone else know about this mind-boggling, reprehensible, and extremely disturbing travesty of justice?

I spent a couple hours on the net digging around and educating myself about this incident, and find it -and the implications- to be monumentally disturbing.

I generally regard myself as being substantially more "in the know" about such political things than most, but I've never heard a whisper of this in my entire life... is it just me?

Who else knows about this, and for how long have you known? I find this whole thing to be amoung the most outrageous things (although the list is long, to be sure) I've every seen/heard about our "government."

Deeply disturbing -as are the implications and other SIMILAR things I've uncovered since then...

Look, while this is the Miscellaneous section, and I'm not trying to play moderator - i think you are correct that this is "WAY off-topic for bassville".

Whatever happened here, it seems to pale in comparison to the Gulf of Tonkin incident, the "attack" on the USS Maine, and the launching of the Second Gulf War, just to mention the first few that come to mind.

There are plenty of other forums on the net better suited to such discussions.

Mark, you do seem rather extravert in your postings, verging on the unrepressed. Everything OK?
