Words to live by, my friend. I'm going to have that inlaid on the fingerboard of my Alembic someday, despite the fact that I have no idea what it means. I'll bet your fluxing density must be off the charts.  I'm going to pretend to "celebrate" my 59th solar orbit on April 16, so I'm right behind you, pops. The Foghorn's people pummel their livers into submission, but I can't drink alcohol because I'm already such a jerk. I might wear a skirt and squeeze a cat under my arm while blowing air up ... uh, never mind. (On a tour of Scotland, a piper asked me if I knew why bagpipers are always walking while playing. I said I didn't know. He said; "to get away from the noise!") Remember when Bugs Bunny thought the Scot was being attacked by an octopus?  No, I'm going to pull out every gizmo I have, turn it up to eleven and subtly remind my neighborhood that a bassist lives here. Show them my flux is DENSE. If they don't like it, I'll tell them to mind their own fluxing density, know'm sayin'? It'll be like this, but with an Alembic.  Oh yeah, there will be bubbles. Put "Blues For Allah" on continuous loop and crawl out when I look like I'm covered with prunes. And cake. There must be cake. |
