Hi everyone: i have a Fender PBass that i just change PU's, and i always notice some "Clank" to the sound, i guess it was the electronics, so after a while i change them for some Villex Pu's, (they're great), but i notice the same "Clank", so i guess it was probably beacuse the fretwire has to do with the sound to, and this bass is not an expensive one, so i guess the fretwire is not as hi quality as other basses. Does anybody know the diference between materials, and how they affect the sound ?, i read long time ago that warwicks use some kind of bell material... Thanks . |
