It is a known skin irritant; I can't imagine what it'd do to your lungs. Eating or drinking from any rosewood container is a bad idea. Pretty as she be...coco bolo is one of them. My hat's off to Alembic for developing the expertise to safely and effectively work wonders with this noxious wood, but it's definitely not to try at home without knowing how to protect yourself.
