It's not a bass, but nice wood, nonetheless...

CB is endlessly fascinating to look at. Every piece is different. Lots variety in graining, figuring, color. Nice bowl.

Ok, I'll shut up now.

Nice piece of work

Public service message:

Smoking anything in a coco bolo pipe could put you in the hospital. It is a known skin irritant; I can't imagine what it'd do to your lungs.

Eating or drinking from any rosewood container is a bad idea.

Please don't become a darwin awards candidate.

You said it, Bradley. I was merely trying to extend the wordplay, not to suggest actually doing it. A cocobolo pipe would be a REALLY BAD idea.

I figured everybody here knew that, but I just wanted to make sure.

There are definitely substances that merit warning. Pretty as she be...coco bolo is one of them. My hat's off to Alembic for developing the expertise to safely and effectively work wonders with this noxious wood, but it's definitely not to try at home without knowing how to protect yourself.
