I just noticed that Yes is going to be on Soundstage tonight. Soundstage is a PBS program here in the US. Check your local listings. The concert is described as the "The 35th Anniversary Concert" featuring the "classic lineup". The original air date was September 30, 2004. |

That was probably the tour i saw in Glasgow. Odd Roger dean inflatables on stage. They stopped the show halfway through to do an 'unplugged' set then Jon wandered through the audience singing during 'and you and I' (i think). It was a superb concert- i think it's on DVD as 'songs from Tsongas' whatever that means. Graeme |

Let me know what it's like Dave,. I have just about everything they've produced except that concert and the Yes Acoustic dvd they put out a couple of years ago. i decided against ordering them as I was getting a bit of Yes overload (and alot of flack from mrs J who wasn't impressed when I dragged her along to the Ladder tour) Graeme |

Check out the reviews at Amazon; people apparently really like it. I don't have any Yes DVD's, so I'm really looking forward to it. In the past I've had the opportunity to see friends' copies of the Keys and HOB DVD's which I thought were very good. |

You need to see Yessymphonic then. An excellent set with the European youth orchestra providing backing - again , one I saw in Glasgow. The orchestra seemed to really get into the music, especially the oboe and clarinetists who were bopping along in good style. Graeme |

In the past, I've had reservations about marriages of rock music to symphonies; but I have seen really good reviews of Yessymphonic. Thanks for the recommendation! |

As a major Yes fan, I was terrified at the prospect of the Symphonic tour, and only went because a friend bought me a ticket....and it was fabulous!!!!! Possibly the best I've seen them. CS is arguably my all-time favourite bassist. |

The symphonic tour was excellent. The only downers were no Wakeman, and 9/11 (which had just happened) cast a somber pall over the proceedings here in Joisey. |

The release date for Magnification was 9/11/2001. I didn't realize that until after listening to it for a few months in 2004 (I had been giving those around me a YES hiatus). Judging from the content, I thought it was done afterward and heavily influenced by 9/11. Skeery when I found out. Wonderful stuff. John |
