After seeing two of the beacon shows, all three hammerstein, and all three tower, all I can say is WOW....Phils most recent lineup is the best I have ever seen play with him..Reminds me alot of the GD circa mid 70's...

Tone wise, he has a great tone this tour, dry, woody and clean...

Also noticed he has a bass pod xtpro in his rack....not sure if he is actually using it or not, but its there...if he is using it though...

i havent gotten to the rest of the shows i downloaded but i was at hammer on sat night...
surprised nobody saw me in my alembic shirt....
that show rocked.... i can safely say that i can rest comfortably knowing the music is in phils hands... i love the nuances in new speedway boogie...and viola lee
yes absolutely the best group he has put together....
would not be surpised if he goes and releases for mass comsumption, i.e. like a new live cd.

yeah, ive seen almost every lineup and this is by far the best and most "Dead like".....to me anyway....it is also way cool to see Joan getting into the music...
