Is it just me, or is Sir Paul's wife the most humorless woman you've ever seen? I realize losing your leg to a land mine would tend to give me a dimmer view of the world in general, but my gosh it seems like she could giggle once in a while, and is he so whipped he goes along with all of her causes? I just hope he didn't jump into this marriage too quick 'on the rebound' after Linda's passing.

I'd stay on tour, too !

I realize this is really nobody's business but his.

J o e y, I also realize that this is nobody's business. But I agree with you 100 percent. I actually miss Linda. I know I am gonna get flamed, but to me she was an important part of Wings. I miss her more than I miss John and George. There I said it.

Rumor had it that Linda had Sir P a bit henpecked too. This discussion actually adds a little credibility to a story I was told:

My bass teacher's former drummer was Rick Jaeger, who played with Dave Mason for quite a few years. Jaeger (who was reputed not to be a kiss 'n tell guy) reported having spent an entire night with Paul and Mason in London, limo'ing from club to club, trying to keep one step ahead of Mrs. Linda M. The story had it that Paul had promised he would do something with the little woman that evening and had "ditched" her outright in favor of a night with the boys. It appears she finally caught up with them at 7AM when she crashed Paul's male-only gentlemen's club (where they had hidden out to enjoy a cigar and brandy) and pulled our former Beatle out by his ear. I don't know which parts are true, but a good story nevertheless.

I guess money and fame don't make anyone immune... (LOL)
