He brought a couple of his Alembics with him and we had a great time playing and talking about the basses. Keith's a really good player and was showing me some Stanley and Jaco stuff. And the two basses he brought are beautiful! The next day I was wishing I had spent more time with each. Just before leaving, Keith pulled out a camera and took some pics. I really like the fretless Zebrawood c-t-c Series-body Europa. It's cool to see this shape with different appointments than the usual SI/II electronics layout. Always imagined a maple Point with just one FatBoy in the sweet spot. And for some reason, my eye is also drawn to the blue and green instrument cables. As is often said around here, it is so much nicer in person than in the pics. The other bass that Keith brought, the Brown Bass lying on the couch, is also gorgeous.
