Here's a link to TalkBass where you will be able to find more than enough information on Wishbass. http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?t=242793 |

Mike, thanks for the link. Interesting discussions. I think my interest has gone past-peak. I was kind of looking at the upright electric. I'll just stick to my acoustic upright. It almost never leaves the house so the portability issue isn't really that much of an issue. Rich |

Not being a bass player, I really can't offer any opinion other than if something seems too good to be true, it usually isn't true. The web site sounds a little like "Why pay hundreds of thousands for a Ferrari. We cut out the middle man and only charge you for a little metal, leather, plastic, and an honest day's work, so you get your wishcar for $1500!" That being said, the reviews over at harmony-central are actually surprisingly good! Here's the link: http://www.harmony-central.com/Bass/Data4/Wishbass/ By the way, I had a "wishguitar" for 30 years (as in: I wished my guitar was an Alembic). Bill, tgo |

Bill, I have an air guitar (and air drums, too!), is that like your fabled wishitar? Brad |
