Can anyone point me in the direction of a live performance of "Throwing Stones"?

Much obliged.

The archive is a great place to stream some Dead and gdlive.com is real hit-and-miss lately, in fact, I haven't seen gdlive up and running for weeks now. You could also check out Dick's Picks 27 - 3 CD set from Oakland Coliseum Arena in Oakland, California on 12/16/92. This set also marks the first Dick's Picks release with Vince as the only keyboardist.

"View from the Vault, Vol. IV" has "Throwing Stones" on it. Here's a link to a good source and more info:

Wasn't there a music video of Touch of Grey and Throwing Stones in 1987? Phil mentions it in his book but I haven't been able to find it.

Joe; here is a VHS video from 1991 called "the making of the Touch Of Grey video and more". There was a music video of the Dead playing Touch Of Grey that played on VH1 a lont time ago. So this VHS tape must be about the making of that video; and if there was a Throwing Stones video made at the same time, my guess would be that it would be on this tape as well.

Oops - sorry Bill - I skimmed over a bunch of posts and totally missed that you already pointed out View 4. And for $10 less than the gdstore.
