Perhaps this has been done before but I think it would be great if anyone on the club who has albums out there (old or new), could post to let people know about it. What do you fine people think?

Sounds reasonable to me. Maybe extend it to include folks that provide samples or sound bites of their playing.

I think it would be real cool. The sound bites may use up a lot of server space at Alembic though if they were uploaded like th pix's are.

It would definitely have to be links to the CD/Artists web page or sound bite.

There are some mp3 downloads on the Big Tuna website here

If you really strain your ears you might just here some bass on them. the studio tracks are all on the Epic and the live tracks are played on my fretless rogue.

Sure! Self-promotion is something I can be persuaded to do.

Here's some mp3 samples from Pickled Beats website.

Noah Gabriel's first CD, "In Aurora" (I played on half the tracks).

Noah's MySpace site contains two rough tracks from Noah's second album and two from his first "In Aurora".

I'm not sure if it's wise to post some very old and unfinished songs... but here they are:
Cold cold beer
http://www.decoda.net/painngrief/SCT.MP3 = S.C.T (don't seem to work with formatting tags...)
I hope it works...
These songs were recorded through a Roland VS 880ex at home. CCB is a cover, original recorded and written by my Dad's band (original indian tea band) For their website please click here
S.C.T is from our demo, recorded in 2000. Terrible guitar sound... but at least the bass is an Alembic... (the Coco Bolo Spoiler)
I'm also guilty for the guitars and 'vocals' on both tracks. (guitar = squier through Zoom direct into the Roland...)
Will post better material when available.
WARNING HEAVY STUFF!
Cheers!

On this track (also from our demo) The Alembic has a more prominent role: The Fog (WMA Format)
This is the first song I ever recorded, the acoustic guitar is my father's Seagul. When the acoustic comes in you can hear the Jazz Bass I swapped for my 'new' '1983 Spoiler. Intro is the Spoiler Coco Bolo double tracked (1 track clean, 1 track with xtreme phaser) The rest of the song is the Spoiler again.
While recording this song I really needed an electric guitar and rushed to the store to get the squier. This was all my sad financial state could afford...
Cheers!

My cd" Doomtree - Down Below" - Long Live Crime Records is available at most larger retailers.
Tower, Best Buy, Virgin, FYE, select Coconuts, Amazon, iTunes etc.

It's enhanced so you get a video, recording, mixing, rehearsing clips with the tracks
Thanks,

Danno, when is #2 due out? I have to replace Down Below. I loaned it to someone who apparently liked it a lot, never gave it back. He was in a low place and I didn't have the heart to push the issue. Good Stuff!

Thanks for the support! There are truly special people here. We are in pre-production for #2. A few more gigs trying out the new material. So far its looking really good. We are looking to get a tour in Japan and Europe if it won't make me broke! Try ebay but not a demo copy, its not enhanced. Some are promo copies that the sons of guns sell instead of playing in the stores.
Thanks again,
Danno

Not the best mixes, but you'll get the idea. Couple gigs this month in NYC, I'll post over in gigs.

Yeah, I dig Doomtree too. Good stuff there.

This is a release of a complete CD of instrumentals by my band Tunes for the takin'. With the exception of the track ,,Waiting'' all tracks are recorded with my 91'er Essence, my main studio bass, since I bought it.

Enjoy:
