Author Message 57basstra Intermediate Member Username: 57basstra Post Number: 185 Registered: 4-2005 Posted on Saturday, July 29, 2006 - 12:22 pm:    Just heard Roger (James Joseph McGuinn III) on the Woods Songs folk music show on our local NPR Station at Murray State University, Ky. He was playing his 12 string Ric from the Byrds days and also playing his invention a 7 string Martin Acoustic. The double string is a 'G' and he says that is what he needs to get the 12 string sound and still have a very playable acoustic that he can carry in a gig bag on his overhead compartment during Airliner trips. WoW!
