Dixie Chicken

This was a great band. The rhythm section of Richard Hayward and Kenny Gradney was tight! I love Hayward's big fat beat.

Tripe Face Boogie

Oh Atlanta

These videos are from the same period as the live double album, Waiting For Columbus, which is one amazingly great album. If you don't have that album, or have never heard it, you really should consider getting it.

This is a great place to hear some great music I wouldn't look up for myself. The Alembicans here all have a great taste in music!
I remember hearing this track when I grew up, gonna search through my parent's record collection tomorrow (in Europe we should be sleeping right now)
Thanx!

Rocket In My Pocket

This one has a little video trouble at the beginning, but then clears up. It's too bad the video and audio are so poor on these cuts; this is a great concert!! All of the above are 1977, Rainbow Theatre, London.

Great vids Dave! Little Feat has long been one of my favorites.

FC - have a look on the archive for some very nice live soundboard recordings. Here are a few shortcuts for you. You can preview these particular shows using the embedded player, and download the lossless files to convert and burn to CD.

I love Little Feat, they are one of the all time greats! Kenny and Richey are my favorite rhythm section hands down. In 1978, Kenny was the first bassist I ever saw play a slap solo; it was at the end of "Spanish Moon," and he went into this sort of flamenco-slap thing - it was amazing.

Another amazing thing was this bartender from one of the local watering holes, The Cosmic Cowboy. He was several rows in front of us, waving a quarter pound of herb over his head in celebration and impunity as there was little, or no law enforcement at the show.

It was a memorable night! LOL

With my band Marshmellow Steamroller we play a lot of Little Feat songs, check www.mmsr.nl for some mp3 soundclips.

Nice tunes Marc! I especially like that you're doing "Woman Across The River".

One of my favorite bands, since my teen years back in Italy... Lowell George even had a strato-blaster in his guitar,
