Author Message fc_spoiler Advanced Member Username: fc_spoiler Post Number: 246 Registered: 5-2006 Posted on Saturday, August 12, 2006 - 10:00 am:    When I want to insert a smiley in a message and use the Special Characters, I get the following message: Error Formatting Error The special character does not exist Funny thing is: it's showing the smiley that 'doesn't' exist in this message... When I go to Images, Attachments, and Clipart and click on (see index) there are smileys which will work... Am I wrong or does this need to be updated? Cheers! F.C. It's interesting that in the error message saying the character doesn't exist they show the clipart version. This one K apparently still works. My guess is that the character set for the particular font being used by the software doesn't contain some of the special characters being referenced in the chart.
