Anyone compared the Eden 2x10 bass cabs to others out there? Anyone compared the Eden 210 XLT to the Eden 210 XST? What are your thoughts on this? Thanks! Michael |

Michael, I have an Eden Metro combo which is basicaly a 2x10 cab with a Eden head attached. It's a real good sounding combo with real good bottom a good crisp high end. My only gripe is that its not very durable. I have had soldering come loose in the head I assume from the bouncing in travel. But never had any trouble from the cabinet. |

I have turned into a total Schroeder fan for cabs. The 1210 light at about 35 lbs has one 12, one 10, and more sound than any 2x10 on the planet. |

If you're going to run a single 210 or multiple 210s, go with the XST. If you're going to use the 210 with a different cab (212, 115, etc.) go with the XLT. The XST has massive bass response for a 210; the XLT is close, but 'plays well with others' a little better. Though you'd be hard pressed to go wrong with either one. J o e y |

+1 on XLTs playing better with others. I had an XST when they first came out. Sounded great - really nothing wrong, but couldn't blend it with other cabs (15's and another 210) to save my life. Since I wasn't interested in investing in a second XST, I sold it. On the other hand, in my experience, XLTs have a little less bass and sweeter, punchy mids. They mix and match freely with other cabs. Both XLT and XST are nice cabs, though. |

That's interesting that the XST doesn't work as well with other cabs as the XLT. Thanks for the info! |

I borrowed Mike Pisanek's rig a while back and it was superb. F1-X into a QSC PLX2402 into two 210XSTs. The bass response was awesome and the midrange punch was pretty imressive too. If they'd been a bit lighter I'd probably have gone that route instead of the EBS NEOs for my own rig. Graeme |
