(Edit: See update post below)

Alain, I clicked on the link in your post. When the site started to open, a message popped up inferring some kind of security problem and asking to download some kind of software. When I clicked Cancel, a new window for the site related to the software download opened up. At the same time, numerous pop-up windows were opening. I closed the software site and your site, yet the pop-ups continued opening for a while longer. I was busy closing them all as quickly as I could.

It would appear that your site is being hosted by some less that reputable hosting service. It would be my guess that this is a good way to discourage people from visiting your site. Personally, I do not trust such sites, and I would not be surprised if my next scan for spyware finds a new problem.

I didn't get to see your site since I was trying to close it as quickly as I could. There are many reputable hosting services that are very reasonably priced. I think your site, and your band, would be much better served on some other server than the one it's on now. I certainly wouldn't send your link to any friends since I wouldn't want them to get upset with me, and I imagine many other folks would feel the same way.

Please don't construe this as being critical of you or your band. My complaint here is with the business practices of the host server.

Hi Dave ,

Thank you so much for the advice and notice . I experienced some pop-up windows one month ago , now , i don't have anymore since i use the pop-up controller ...what doesn't solve the problem ! This morning , i'll call my hosting service to know what's going on there !!! I didn't know it was at that point , no one ever told us that ! I'm so glad you tell me what u noticed because it's really upsetting to see that our work is messed up by such practices ( pop-up , adv...)

I keep you inform of what will my hosting service intend to do to solve the problem !
Thank's again !

Hi Dave ,

I contacted the host service and he explained me that the " counter " that shows us how many visits we have on the website is in fact a " huge crap " !!! This is something we brought for free from internet but also full of spams , ads , pop-ups...

So , we'll remove that asap and see if it goes better !

Thank's again !

ps : the provider gave us a link with all the statistics of visits on our site ! goooood !

Great!!!!!

So it was the counter script! I'm glad you got it figured out. The operators of the host server turned out to be very helpful. I'm glad I was wrong about them!

The site looks great! Very nice layout!
