An area pawn shop has a very nice looking, and rather old looking, Hofner 12 string acoustic guitar. It has Schaller tuners. The neck seems exceptionally well made and substantial. Inside the ax it says "Made in Western Germany." .........just curious on info ...Oh by the way, I also picked up a, believe it or not, Gibson Acoustic Guitar at a local flea market for almost nothing...the model is a Pro Deluxe. Anyone ever heard of this model? (It has a few issues but is playable.)Thank you all.. David |

David, I'm an old Hofner fan - one of my early basses was Hofner "verithin" bass from 1965 or so. There's a good Hofner site run by a guy called Steve Russell, and here's a link to the 12-string info on his website: http://www.steverussell.freeserve.co.uk/hofner/factfiles/12st.html Rick |
