Hey everyone, I just picked up an F-2B for a song off of craigslist. I'd love to hear how guitarists are using it - stereo or mono?, power amp?, effects?, with an SF-2?, general set up stuff?, tell me about your experience with this unit.

Thanks,

Bill, tgo

I use my F-2B with everything - not just bass, but keyboards including a Nord Electro (Rhodes and Hammond organ sounds) and Moog synths. If they're stereo (like the Hammond), then I use it stereo. Sometimes with my basses I use one channel clean and send the effected signal (for example, delay) through the other channel, with both channels going onto separate tracks in Protools. Then I can pan the effected channel a bit for a wider sound. Or one channel through my Moogerfooger analog delay and the other through my Roland Space Echo! Here's a sample:
