Well it's time again for the twice a year World Guitar Show at the Marin Civic Center in San Rafael. Next Saturday and Sunday - January 13th and 14th. Lots-o-guitars and basses too! Even an Alembic every once in a while (this is where I found my '83 Electrum - my first Alembic). I've found several interesting instruments there over the years - most recently, last July, I found my (90% sure it's a)Doug Irwin guitar. I'll be there on Sat. morning, probably close to 10:00 a.m. opening. I have a jam Sat. afternoon. I'll probably be going back on Sunday afternoon. The deals get better at closing time. Oh I soooo wish I could come hang out with you guys. It's tough to find an alembic in the midwest. Mike, you are not included in the above...but yours was the first Alembic I ever saw in person, and being played lovingly too!!! | ||
