I just was over at Danno's place buying his Rickenbacker.I was amazed at his Alembic collection---his 7 string fretless is wild-- and he can play it!(but you won't hear it at a DOOMTREE gig..)
I'd like to see an Alembic eight string to round out the collection .I'm planting the seed now..

Thanks Senny, I'm looking forward to meeting your Carl Thompson 6 and custom 12. Also thanks for picking up the 4003.
It is in more than capable hands (this cat can fly folks!) Perhaps I'll fire up the protools rig for that?

7 string? Goes up to F? Indeed pics if you please. Curiosity kills. And fretless too. Must growl with the best of them, not to mention shake the ceiling tiles down.
Congrats senny on picking up a another real rocker. I'm sure you'll coax some smooth grooves from that beauty.

This post has pretty good pictures of Danno's Alembics, though I'm not sure how current it is.

That is TOOOOO SWEET Danno. I'd have trouble with a monster like that. I have small hands.

How do you like those Epifani cabs? I never played through any but have heard good reports.

It was a bday present to myself. i like the Epi cabs. I recently got a 212ul that I love. That with the 310 covers quite a bit of ground. (F1X-SF2-DTR-PLX 3402)
Mica took my order for a tricked out Excel 5 fretless so I won't look too exotic.
