Excellent playing. I don't know much about piccolo basses but I have an unused musicman sterling sitting around the house unused virtually since I reverted to Alembic. Thats a regular 34 inch scale bass could I use that as a piccolo bass? If so what strings do I need and what tuning? thanks Jazzyvee |

Hi Jazzyvee, Check this thread for your reference. In this thread, Mica says that saddles should be replaced and reslotted for narrower strings. But if you use Musicman for your piccolo bass, I think the saddles need not be replaced because it can be adjusted individually. If you try it, please report about it. I found this guy's web site.
