hiya, I'm new in town and am happy to be here!what other pedals can do what the hard-to-find digitech bass whammy does??

The Digitech BP-8 valve has the whammy build in, as well as the newer multi effect pedals from Digitech.
I also use a Zoom 505 (guitar) with an expression pedal. I like it better than the Digitech, there's absolutely no delay in the signal. The catch: you can only choose between pedal up or pedal down (one octave up/down)

My Lexicon G2 can do this stuff as well as intelligent pitch shifting and a whole lot more! They can be found used for decent money these days.
