Just found out we can do colors here. This is wild!
Just type your colored text and put
it in between brackets like this. And make sure Enable HTML code in message is clicked.

Sure is a nice change.

Hmmm... any other colors besides blue, purple, and red? Yellow works, if you just type in "yellow" -but it's hard to see...

If you're going to use yellow text, you better time your message to get the gray background.

I can see that!!! Thanks again for the share, jahnahisti! I just gave it a little practice workout on another thread, and I've got it down pretty well.

Uhm... any other colors that'cha know of?

I see that, for red, purple, and yellow, you just type in the spelling of the color... but blue has a alphanumeric code -for whatever reason.

Any other colors that'cha know of? I'd love to be able to write in orange, green, and pink!!! And maybe brown and lime green!!!

y'know i only did this because i was curious as to the extent of html allowed on posts for this particular website.
i was noticing that a lot of html wasn't allowed to do it's thing when entered here so if there's anything else you can do beside links, you should post it here, since we're curious.
if nothing else for a cool signature,

I did. Right off the bat. But it didn't work. Repeatedly.

And I've done every thing the same way. Red worked by itself -but the others didn't.

And now it does work. Even though I've been doing the same thing.

Hmm. Well, thanks again for sharing.

Interesting. I just copied the previous text and NOW it worked... even the the HTML was checked before (and always is)... there must have been a glitch in the system, or something.

Try Firefox 2 from Mozilla.com. It is more current and a much better browser IMHO.

Chuck,
It is related to the browser not the operating system. Firefox will run on Win 98 so you really should give it a try. If you need help with it send me an e-mail and I can give you a call.

Couldn't agree more James. In the UK at the moment, Which? is advertising a free, "Easy to use" PC guide. Should be just three words in my opinion:

Get a Mac!
