Don't know if you guys have heard of these, but they're awesome. I got tired of my Planet Waves always coiling up funky, so I bought a coiled cable made by Bullet Cable. Great sound. Heavy, 1" coil. 5 foot cord extends to 25 feet. $39 retail, got it for $30 cash out the door. Wish I'd found them sooner. |

I took a look and they don't seem to tell you very much about the business end of the cable. It's nice that they have a thick casing, but I'm more interested in wire gauge, shielding, and capacitance. I wonder how they compare in function to some of the premier cables people around here tend to use? The price is certainly low relative to the "good" stuff. |

I STILL miss the coil cable, to my mind 'The Poor Man's Wireless'. Though I like guns just fine, instead of the 'bullet cables' ('I prefer the tone from my boat-tailed spritzer to the semi-wadcutters!') I REALLY dig the 'spark-plug' cables. But then again, do NGK's sound better than Champions, and do Platinums really last longer? J o e y |
