Being as bass obsessed as I am, when i started to doodle in a boring lesson I ended up coming up with wierd bass designs. Here's one of my odd ones, although I can't quite decide whether it's hideous or actually quite nice. feel free to compliment/criticise

Zach, I think it looks pretty cool without being bizarre looking. The cutout by the bridge would look great with the contrasting colors of a "hippie sandwich" neck through.
Now, you pay attention to your teachers, LOL.

yeah, I started off with pretty much the omega balance shape as you can probably tell, although i tried to fiddle the proportions about to see if they'd look better when in the golden ratio, can't remember how close to 1.6 they ended up. Then I started wondering what a guitar would look like if you stuck horns on the bottom as well... I think the acid description works well!

don't worry, i've been a good student this time thoughand drew this at about 10pm instead of when i was meant to be working. Came up with another one, think i actually prefer this one actually. I've tried to make it a little less crazy and slightly more realistic, with what to me seems like a rediculously wide omega heart at the bottom, although now looking at it i think the curve on the right should go in deeper... And chuck, I did consider a headstock as you can see, although i think the proportions of it would need changing.
big...

Why draw an ultra short scale bass with a broken headstock?

Draw a good stand and this won't happen again.
