Cool!!!! Kimberly has lots of stuff up on YouTube, and there's a video of Flax's band. That's all I remember seeing at the moment; but then I'm pretty forgetful. Oh, and Trip Wamsley just recently joined the club, and he's got some stuff up as well. | ||

Hi Austin, Interesting style to me. I've never played an upright so I'm clueless when it comes to the 'mechanics' of playing one. However, I couldn't help but notice your thumb usage on the fret board. Is this typical of an upright style? I used to do something 'somewhat' similar way back when on a right handed Jazz bass. The strap 'came up' right about the 12th fret (I play left handed upside down) and I'd have to play with my thumb over the fret board from the 12th up. But, I never thought about using it to fret with, only to 'keep it out of the way'. ;) Thanks for the video *and* the inspiration. Thought provoking.
